Support a Survivor
More than 10 million women and men experience physical abuse by an intimate partner every year in the United States. Even more experience emotional, financial, and/or sexual abuse, and these individuals are suffering. NCADV will be there to support these emerging voices with your contribution.
One important way that we can make a difference is to provide scholarships for survivors to attend NCADV’s annual conference. A gift of $2,500 will provide the resources for one individual to attend four days of learning, including travel and accommodations. A gift of $25,000 would support ten survivors of domestic violence. Any scholarship gift will support scholarships for individual support for registration, travel, and or lodging for survivors. This type of investment in survivors journey is immeasureable!
A survivor scholarship to the NCADV conference is often the first step to a new life for domestic violence victims. In 2018, NCADV’s conference gave 10 survivors the skills and knowledge they requested and required (in some instances). The conference also provides survivors and advocates with a plethora of information they take back to their families and communities.
The next conference is coming in October 2020.
