Each day of NCADV's conference will be spent in a different way for attendees to maximize the networking, learning, and restoration opportunities at #WeAreResilient:

  • Sunday, August 28th - A Day to Regroup as a Collective
A full day of pre-conference intensives and our conference opening, featuring remarks from Rachel Louise Snyder, followed by a special reception with a book signing accompanied by beer, wine and light bites.
  • Monday, August 29th - A Day to Revive Our Commitment to Ending Violence
A full day of daytime events plus a soiree for the evening! Featuring our keynote speaker, Tommi Vincent, and the 2022 awards will be presented at the soiree, followed by DJ, dancing, drinks, and light bites.
  • Tuesday, August 30th - A Day to Restore Our Minds and Bodies with Self-Care
Start with a grab and go breakfast plus morning yoga to refresh your body from the jam-packed schedule from Monday, then stop by the puppies Purina is bringing to their booth! Featuring additional workshops and a plenary session on making shelters pet-friendly for survivors and their companions!
  • Wednesday, August 31st - A Day to Renew Our Work for the Future
The final day of the conference wraps up with workshops, our closing, plus two post-conference intensives!

2022 Award Ceremony and Soiree

On Monday, August 29th, NCADV will host the Evening Soiree and Awards Ceremony to celebrate the winners of the 2021 and 2022 awards, as well as provide an opportunity for survivors and advocates to self-care with a well-deserved dance party!

Conference attendees can RSVP to the event when they register for the event. We still have some tickets available for non-attendees as well! You can even request a song for the DJ to play!
